It was another great week in Kindergarten!
Part of our daily routine is reading the morning message together. Students are always excited and eager to participate in reading the message and show off their developing literacy skills! During this time we focus on literacy in a variety of ways and through lots of different games.
Learning outcome:
- Children explore how messages can be organized
- Identify and applying text forms and structures improves understanding of content, literary style and our rich language traditions
I can:
- Identify the first and last letter in a word
- Identify the first and last word on a page or in a message
- Identify corresponding written words as they are read aloud
